DENTAL EMERGENCIES

In the unfortunate instance when a dental emergency arises, we make every effort to accomodate your needs in a timely fashion. If a true emergency arises, please call 911 or visit the local emergency room for immediate care.

Examples of emergencies requiring immediate medical attention include severe facial trauma and/or bleeding, severe facial or neck swelling, or difficulty breathing.

However, if a routine dental emergency arises during normal business hours, please call ahead at 301-498-0545 to inform us of the nature of your emergency and we will make every effort to schedule a same-day emergency appointment. While we can accomodate patients on a walk-in basis, calling ahead will help to minimize your wait time.

Examples of routine dental emergencies include tooth pain, dental abscesses, tooth trauma, broken teeth, broken dentures, and missing crowns.
